FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis)

FMEA is a systematic team work that starts with the identification of possible faults in design, production, installation, product and service areas.

Goal is identification of fault modes step-by-step, the identification of countermeasures to completely prevent them by questioning root causes of these faults, the management and planning of actions with the principle of risk prioritization.

The purpose of training;

Making effective risk analysis in managerial, business and operational processes in changing and developing market conditions, reducing their impact and concentrating on potential mistakes that may form the basis of continuous improvement activities, correctly will provides to work the value chain. In this context, one of the most effective methods that can be used Fault Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). It is possible to determine, prioritize and take precautions for the types of faults that can occur in the design, development and working steps of parts, products or processes with this analysis method.

Effective solutions can be found the functionality of existing products and parts, possible defects in the designed products, possible manufacturing problems, breakdown in business processes and potential  sources of variability by way of FMEA. Work teams will be able to provide spot-on solutions to potential fault sources through matrix to be created. In this training, it is aimed that the participants have the infrastructure to apply this technique in their own business processes with theoretical knowledge, case studies and team work.

The contents of training:

 FMEA, which is one of the most effective methods for designing of parts, products, processes is used in operational areas at different levels from operational processes to strategic management processes. This training will provide the necessary information about the FMEA methodology and its application areas, underlining risk identification, types and risk analysis approaches. Thanks  to case studies and detailed examples that is given within the context of Design FMEA and Process FMEA, implementations will be made concrete.
