Micro-Behaviors That Build and Break Trust – An Awareness Training for Managers
Trust is built not through grand statements, but through small daily interactions. Grupas' "Micro-Behaviors That Build and Break Trust" awareness training makes visible the impact of the micro-behaviors managers often display without realizing it on team climate, psychological safety and performance. Trust-damaging habits such as interrupting, blaming language, defensive reactions, mockery and public criticism, along with trust-building practices such as active listening, open-ended questions, ownership, support in the face of mistakes and timely recognition, are studied through concrete cases.
The program is delivered as a 60-minute awareness session or a 90-minute in-depth version, with groups of 8–18 participants. The training method consists of interactive presentation, case analysis, role play, leadership reflection and personal action plan design. Participants leave the training with an awareness of the "Behavior Chain Model" and a personal trust plan that includes 30 days of follow-up.
