Job Instruction Training for Operators

Grupas' Job Instruction for Operators program brings to the shop floor a systematic job instruction method whose origins lie in the need to train manpower rapidly during the Second World War and which remains just as valid today. The program develops experienced master operators into "Technical Trainers", making on-the-job training planned, standardized and repeatable.
The training covers building good working relationships, looking at processes through a method-improvement lens, the fundamentals of adult learning, breaking the job down into steps, preparing key points in advance, turning shop-floor practices into training documents, and presentation techniques. At its core lies the 4-Step Method that guarantees learning: Preparation – Presentation (I do) – Try-out (We do) – Follow-up (You do).
