DFMEA – Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Training
Most failures occurring in products and parts originate at the design stage. Delivered as part of Grupas' Industry-Specific Programs, the DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) training enables the systematic identification, prioritization and mitigation of potential failure modes that may arise during the design phase. The program covers the 5 core stages — planning, structure analysis, function analysis, failure analysis and risk analysis — through hands-on tools such as the boundary diagram, parameter matrix, process flow diagram, interaction matrix and RPN (Severity × Occurrence × Detection) calculation. Supported by theoretical knowledge, sample case studies (an automotive brake disc DFMEA application) and group work, the training concludes with a practical workshop.
