CPK – PPK Process Capability Training
Variability is an inevitable reality of manufacturing life; however, variability that is not brought under control paves the way for scrap, rework, customer complaints and loss of prestige. Delivered under Grupas' Industry-Specific Programs, the CPK – PPK Process Capability training builds the competence required to statistically identify, measure and manage critical processes. The program covers basic statistics, the definition and measurement of variability, the interpretation of specification and control limits, process capability analysis methodology, and data collection, analysis and evaluation techniques, turning them into practice through group work.
The training makes the difference between Cpk (process capability) and Ppk (process performance) concrete through calculation steps, a performance interpretation table (sigma levels, PPM, defect rates) and case studies from the automotive, pharmaceutical and electronics industries.
