Grupas' training program, based on the Toyota Production System (TPS), consists of three modules that ensure work is taught correctly, safely and efficiently; that in-team relations are managed; and that work methods are systematically improved: JI (Job Instruction), JR (Job Relations), JM (Job Methods). The program builds the knowledge and skills that carry standard work, a workplace safety culture, motivation and the Kaizen continuous improvement approach onto the shop floor. Through the effective use of process improvement tools such as Lean, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, SWOT, Fishbone and Pareto, the targeted potential productivity increase is 40%.
